Privacy Policy

Rishabh Yadav, operating LaserCut Market from Uttar Pradesh, India, decides how and why your personal data is handled. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 that makes us the data fiduciary, and you the data principal.

We try to collect as little as the marketplace can function on.

• Account details. Your email address, and a display name if you choose one. If you sell, your shop name and profile text.
• Purchases. What you bought, when, and for how much, so you can download it again and so we can handle refunds and disputes.
• Uploads. If you sell, the design files and preview images you upload, along with the descriptions you write.
• Technical data. Ordinary server and delivery logs such as IP address, browser type and timestamps, kept for security and debugging.

We never see your card details. Payments are handled by a payment processor and card and bank information goes to them, not to us. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and a reference for it.

Your cart is stored in your own browser’s local storage so it survives a page refresh. It stays on your device, and clearing your browser data clears it.

Once accounts exist, a session cookie will keep you signed in. We do not run third party advertising or cross-site tracking.

To provide what you asked for: creating your account, delivering files you bought, and answering your messages. To meet legal obligations such as tax and accounting records. And to keep the marketplace secure, which is a legitimate interest of ours and of every honest user.

We use a small number of service providers, and they process data only to do their job for us:

• A hosting and content delivery provider, to serve the website
• A managed database provider, to store accounts, listings and orders
• A payment processor, to take payments and process refunds
• An email provider, to send receipts and account mail

Some of them operate outside India, which means your data may be processed abroad. We share data with the authorities only where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data.

Account and purchase records are kept while your account exists and for as long afterwards as tax and accounting rules require. Technical logs are kept for a short period. When data is no longer needed for either, it is deleted.

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. You can withdraw consent where we relied on it, and you can nominate someone to exercise these rights if you are unable to. Some data must be kept even after an account is closed, for example invoices we are legally required to retain.

The site is served over HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed and never in readable form, and purchased files are delivered through links that expire. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your data, we will act on it and inform you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.

This marketplace is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone who cannot lawfully agree to these terms.
